The Guild is proud to announce our newest Executive Board member, Rob Manchester of Teamsters Local 25. Rob, who’s 27, has been a member of Local 25 for three years, and he credits both the Teamsters and the Guild with a vast improvement in his quality of life compared to past non-union work. He’s come to play an active role in the movement as a member of Local 25’s futures committee as well as the Labor Guild Youth Caucus, and he’s participated in labor actions with workers ranging from teachers to nurses to power plant workers. Rob lives in Methuen and has a son, WIlliam, who will turn 7 in August. We’re excited to welcome him to our board and we look forward to his further contributions to the Guild’s efforts.
