We are excited to bring you another valuable workshop series. Patti Legault-Frank will be leading two evening sessions, the first on parliamentary procedures and the other on bylaws. Students can register for one or both of the workshops. The cost is $60 for one night and $100 for both sessions.
The sessions will be held at our location in Braintree on July 10th & July 11th, 5:30 to 9:00 pm.
Have you ever struggle to keep pace with union meetings or felt discouraged from participating because of the complexity of Robert’s Rules of Order?
Have you ever found yourself lost in the depths of your organization’s bylaws?
Does the structure of meetings seem like an obstacle in the way of your work as an organizer and advocate?
If you answered yet to any of these questions, this two-night primer is for you!
We are confident that participants in this workshop series will finish the sessions with a greater understanding of parliamentary structure, and will feel more confident to participate in their organizations. The sessions will also explore why unions use bylaws and how one can better understand how their organization’s bylaws operate.
