This class explores the concept of Medicare for All and the ongoing debate surrounding universal health care in the United States. Participants will examine how the current health care system works, review proposals for a single-payer model, and discuss the potential benefits, challenges, and economic impacts of expanding health care coverage. The class encourages informed discussion on one of the most important public policy issues facing workers, families, and communities today.
