Great Training Session this Wednesday 1/14/15: Pitching & Placing News Stories Training For union staff and volunteers

Wednesday, January 14,2015  ~ 10 AM to 4 PM

This training will focus on strategies to pitch and place stories in media outlets so that unions can effectively play a proactive role in shaping the story that is being told about the economy and the labor movement. Leaders staff and volunteers who are responsible for pitching stories to news outlets are particularly encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided.

The two trainers are Jeff Hall of 1199SEIU and Nora Frederickson from the national AFL-CIO.
