In Memoriam: Longtime Guild Member, CGA Awardee and Past Guild President, Chuck Monahan
The Labor Guild joins our brothers and sisters at IBEW Local 103 in mourning the passing of longtime Guilder, CGA Awardee and past Labor Guild President, Chuck Monahan. In a career that spanned more than 50 years, Chuck made significant improvements in worker health and safety- specifically as it related to helping members find treatment for substance abuse and misuse- and was honored at the 2000 CGA Dinner with the Labor Guild’s Labor Award. Chuck was also elected President of the Labor Guild in 2001, and served as part of the Guild’s Executive Board for over 2 decades. Words are not enough to sum up Chuck’s impact on the labor community and his service to the Guild, and he will be greatly missed.
