Since 1976, MassCOSH has stood side-by-side with our fellow brothers and sisters to fight for safe and healthy working conditions.
On this special night MassCOSH is honored to recognize the following award recipients:
- Rep. Linda Dorcena Forry
- Kimberly Flynn
- Restaurant Warehouse Workers
- Purple Gold program, 1199SEIU
- SEIU 615 Lift Off Campaign
Over these 36 years MassCOSH has made tangable impacts in the lives of working people, including:
– Winning the first major Child Labor law reforms in decades (2007)
– Launching our worker center, the first to be established by a COSH (2006)
– Creating a first-of-its-kind guide for primary care clinicians for diagnosing, treating and referring patients hurt on the job
– And in the summer 2012, spearhead the passage of the Temp Worker Right to Know Law! read more
