Wendall Walter Gardner

Wendall Walter Gardner is a proud 15-year member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America based out of Framingham, MA. His journey with the Labor Guild began when he was still a Labor Steward in the field and an executive board member of his local union, 609. He took multiple classes over the years to sharpen his skills as a labor leader, which assisted him in his ascension from an executive board member to President of his local, as well as Field Representative/Business Agent. His career growth was simultaneous with the time spent taking courses at the Labor Guild. After completing over 8 terms of courses, he graduated as the valedictorian of his Labor Guild class in 2018. A few years later, the Labor Guild offered him the honor and opportunity of teaching his peers during the Construction Labor Steward’s course. He is proud to be the newest member of the Labor Guild Executive Board of Directors. In this new role, it is his goal to contribute a fresh perspective and aim to inspire future Union leaders in our classrooms, which will continue to grow the Labor Guild and ensure that it sustains its place for many years to come.
