Intro to the NLRA

Ever been in a meeting and people casually reference the “NLRA?” What is the NLRA? How did it come about and what does it have to do with unions? In this video we’ll look at the history of the National Labor Relations Act, who is covered by it, who is not covered, how and where to file an NLRA violation or ULP (unfair labor practice) charge. We’ll describe what happens during a charge, and who is eligible to file a charge. We’ll also describe what the Massachusetts equivalent of the NLRA is for public employees not covered by the federal act.
