This semester the Labor Guild is offering a class on “The Crisis in the Labor Movement: Which Way Forward for Workers and Their Unions?” taught by Rand Wilson, Communication & Policy Director at SEIU Local 888
Our next guest speaker is Barbara Madeloni, the newly elected president of the Mass Teachers Association.
The Guild is pleased to offer to open up the class to a wider audience who might be interested in meeting Barbara Madeloni and participating in the discussion: What is unique about the insurgency that Barbara Madeloni led in the MTA? What lessons from her campaign could apply to other unions?
